Several sources describe it as fragrant, very fragrant –in fact, that’s why
I originally wanted to grow it.

On my plant the stamens have appeared before the style and stigma.  Now that
they are out, I detect some fragrance.  

I guess that makes it a pistol packing fragrance. 

My plant began to lean the other day, so I have it staked (actually tied to
some tiger lilies).
