Oxalis crassipes?

How might Oxalis crassipes fit into the "Texas Oxalis" discussion? Has its name changed? It can be found everywhere in the Houston-Gulf Coast area, San Antonio and probably all over Texas. It's a heirloom plant that spreads easily and at one time was greatly admired in borders. Flowers are either pink or, rarely, white.
