Josh, The reason that has more than one flower is because it is not a Paramongaia - it is Hieronymiella aurea (Eustephieae), endemic to Argentina. Hieronymiella encompasses almost every type of floral morphology that occurs in the Andean tetraploid clade of Amaryllidaceae. Best, Alan
