For years I've daydreamed about using Ipomoea pandurata to make
crosses with more colorful Ipomoea species. So this morning I set out
to do that with Ipomoea coccinea. O.M.G. there's pollen everywhere
and I can't find the stigma -- I think it's smothered with pollen
already! Good grief.

Any words of wisdom from the PBS forum? :-)

PS: I was successful, however, in crossing Passiflora x 'Manta' with
Passiflora lutea this morning. And by that I mean I was able to apply
pollen from one onto the other, and vice versa. :-) Only time will
tell if they develop fruit.
