Dear All,

The items listed below have been donated by our members to be shared.

If you are interested in obtaining some of them, please email me PRIVATELY
at <ds429@comcast.net>. Include "BX 299" in the subject line.

Specify the NUMBERS of the items which you would like; do not
specify quantities. It is a good idea to include your snail mail address,
too, in case I don't already have it. Availability is based on a first come,
first served system. When you receive your seeds/bulbs you will find,
included with them, a statement of how much money (usually $2.00/share of
seeds or $3 -$5/ share of bulbs)(cash, check, or Pay Pal to
<pbs.treasury@verizon.net>; no money orders, please) you should send the PBS
treasurer to defray our costs for packing and first-class, priority-mail, or
international postage.

PLEASE NOTE: CURRENT POSTAL-RATE SCHEMES NECESSITATE OUR PLACING A SURCHARGE
ON EACH ORDER FROM PBS BX OFFERINGS.

charge. THIS BX OFFERING IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO MEMBERS of the Pacific Bulb

From Nhu Nguyen:

SEEDS:
OP = open pollinated
1. Nerine bowdenii OP
2. Tigridia pavonia - typical orange form OP with no others of the same
genus around
3. Rhodophiala advena - salmon with a lime-green throat OP with no others of
the same genus around
4. Pasithea caerulea - OP with no others of the same genus around
5. Nerine hybrid - mix of a number of colors
6. Strumaria tenella - cute little things that can bloom quickly OP but most
likely a selfing
7. Oxalis megalorrhiza - this is a nice tuberous species, some people say
that it can be weedy. I have found two plants in another pot but they can be
easily pulled out, unlike the real weedy Oxalis corniculata group.
8. Habranthus tubispathus - OP with no others of the same genus around
9. Impatiens tinctoria
10. Allium carinatum ssp. pulchellum - OP with no others of the same genus
around
11. Canna indica, dark red form, OP

From Alf Valjebeck: (SEEDS)

12. Leucojum vernum var carpathicum, collected in Sweden
13. Veratrum nigrum, collected in Sweden
14. Zephyranthes fosteri, collected in Sweden

From Eugene Zielinski:

15. Seed of Alophia veracruzana

From Mary Sue Ittner:(SEEDS)

16. Gladiolus carmineus- fall blooming before the leaves, winter growing,
grows within view of the ocean in its native habitat, does really
well in coastal Northern California. Seed just harvested

17. Lilium maritimum- a somewhat rare Lilium that grows where I live in
coastal Northern California with cool summer temperatures. I don't
know how hardy it is.

18. Nerine masoniorum- almost evergreen, probably needs year round water,
needs to be planted right away or as soon as it sprouts

19. Nerine sarniensis hybrid- winter growing, summer dormant, but still
doing better with occasional water in summer so the roots don't
shrivel, needs to be planted right away or as soon as the seed
sprouts (although one year I forgot it and all of the seed had
produced bulbs in the dish I had put the seed in and set aside when I
discovered it many months later)

From Bob Werra:

20. Seed of Fritillaria biflora

From Peter Taggart:

21. Bulb of Iris vicaria (only one order)
22. Bulbs of Iris cycloglossa
23. Bulblets of Iris reticulata 'Halkis'
24. Seedlings of large Eremerus species grown from wild seed.
25. Tubers of Geranium transversal, ex Ruksans
26. Tubers of Geranium macrostylum, ex Ruksans
29. Seed of Paeonia ex 'Aurelia' from Ray Cobbs, 'Aurelia' is a hybrid of P.
molokosevitizii. My plants are almost indistinguishable from P.
molokosevitizii

Thank you, Nhu, Alf, Gene, Mary Sue, Bob, and Peter !!

Best wishes,
Dell
