County Arboretum Lecture Room A SCHAS proudly presents a special program by our own Charles Hardman and Tom Glavich: "Irids from Charles Hardman's Metal Box". From deep in the archives of Charles Hardman's slide collection, comes a presentation of Irids, with many rare and unusual varieties seldom ever seen. These were very old slides that have been scanned, cleaned, and color-corrected and are now going to be presented for the first time in there re-mastered condition. This is a program not to be missed. Additionally, to add to the excitement of this special program, SCHAS will be hosting a bulb fair. Members and guests are encouraged to bring special and unusual bulbs that may be in bloom for all attendees to admire in the Show and Tell. (Please provide a species and cultivar name, as well as your name on the plant to avoid any potential confusion with other exhibits). There will be bulbs for auction and sale followed by a Pot luck lunch. **If you are interested in having a sales table at this event, please contact Mary K. at 818-705-4728 for details.
