Arnold, how did you take that photo? After the original discussion I 
looked for thermal cameras, and they're very expensive. I ended up at a 
site that gave instructions on how to turn a cheap infrared thermometer 
into a camera.

(infrared cameras are common and cheap and not the same thing)
