Tropaeolum tuberosum plants were for sale at the Merritt College (Oakland, CA) earlier this month. I know that it grows and makes tubers(I have never noticed the flowers) in Berkeley and inOccidental at the Arts & Ecology Center. They sell them at their plant sales but do not ship. My friend in Berkeley usually gets enough to share with me. This year she lost most or all of her crop possibly due to our unusual long very wet spring. Both Oxidental and Berkeley have mild climates with cool nights in the summer. Liz Waterman
