Gladiolus robertsoniae

In reply to the questions about the images of G. robertsoniae that I posted
last week I have the following information. They were taken, not in
Gauteng, but near Villiers in the Free State. Org has also seen the species
in Mpumalanga not far from the border with Gauteng. The reason you may not
have heard of the species or seen it on seedlists is that it is rare and on
the Red Data list. Org has manage to raise some plants and has bloomed them
within three years. You can expect to see an article in Aloe at a later
date. As to when seeds will be available we'll just have to wait and see.
So, don't hold your breath!
