So excited to find my Tropaeolum alive and bigger than originally planted 2 years ago from Telos Rare Bulbs. I half expected them to be gone after a difficult winter, crowded by weeds and devoured by slugs. Now re-planting in the new, more protected bulb boxes. Like buried treasure. Described as "not easy to grow, and need patience and experience to succeed", I am just lucky that my soil and climate suit them. This is the purple species. I hope to acquire the blue species when it becomes available. Here are photos of the original bulbs, their descendants, and their first winter's bloom.
