I've never done anything in summer in the area of the garden where I'm  
growing Veratrum, and just noticed that it is missing, which was very  
disappointing, considering how long it has been growing, and how  
slowly.  I  hope I didn't dig it out when I was planting in its area  
last week.

I'll watch for it next spring.
