I apologize.I meant dormancy while evergreen, which is strict interruption of production of new leaves, which rather "accumulate" w/in the bulb and will appear as a nice leaf bush in October. The old leaves gradually wilt during dormancy, and in October they will be dead or almost dead and can be plucked off.
