Moraea tortillis is about my favorite moraea. One if the smallest but the corkscrew leaf ultimately producing a gorgeous blossom. However it is most fugacious opening at 10 AM and closing at 4 PM. You have to be home for lunch. I had it for over ten years but it is gone now. I saw it in northern SA in a sandy barren area. I doubt that it is readily available in US or elsewhere. Gordon Summerfield offered seed this year. He has a fantastic catalog of SA seed and corms. His Email address is email@example.com.
