I think we're in the majority when it comes to the mass produced Cyclamen.  The hardy ones, I'm far more inclined nurture.

The result is guilt. 


The antidote to the guilt is creative accounting. I now pro-rate or amortize the value of these plants. They cost $5 each when purchased, but since I've had them for about 50 days now, the "cost" has come down to about 10 cents per day. by the time I abandon them for the summer, it will be down to mere pennies.  

OK, 'fess up: I'm not the only one who does this, am I?
