Question about harvesting seed

Hello All,

For the past 3 years or so I have been cutting off the scapes of Eucomis after they flower but before the seed ripen and threw them on the "composting" pile in the garden. Not only did they finish ripening but they also sprouted the following spring, despite our rather brutal winter. So you can add Eucomis to this list of harvesting seeds after the scape is removed.
