On the topic of lily's, does anyone have experience growing this one, the lemon lily. The first time it bloomed our favorite cat ate the flowers. I doubt that has anything to do with it, but it has seemed to diminish every year since and so far this year it is the only lily I have that has not emerged. It was my wife's favorite, grew wild where she grew up, and I would like to get more but I want to be sure I know how to care for it properly.
