Pelargonium appendiculatum is a great species, not hard to grow in the right climate and seeds profusely. Yet is is very rare and localized in its South African habitat.
Ernie DeMarie
Tuckahoe NY where the first blue scilla siberica buds are showing, and crocus, snowdrops, eranthis, hellebores, and iris reticulata are all in bloom.

Lots of bloom this time of year but here's a favorite of mine - Pelargonium
appendiculatum, with that soft, furry foliage.
