I want to transfer some of my Eucomis (comosa type mostly) from my current garden to a new one next spring. Can I lift them now before they go dormant and store as bulbs, more or less dry and frost free, and I may do less damage when I can see the leaves, or should I leave them until the spring, and hope I can find them? Doubt I have space to pot them all up properly.
