An unexpected Irid is growing and flowering in one of my pots. I don't know how I came by it. Judging from the season, I suspect it might be a Crocosmia, but it's not like any one I'm familiar with. Looking through the history of the pot, I see that some creature had been rummaging around in it at one point; eventually, a Calochortus uniflorus arose from the pot along with the Ixia.
