Vinegar for weeds

Hello all,
This vinegar suggeston reminds me of the method we used in the sixties for
controlling on a field scale, weeds in onion crops with a diluted mixture of
sulphuric acid ( H2SO4). Very efficient on small weeds, but only a setback
effect on older weeds. The problem was that acid resistant equipment was
necessary and handling the acid was a very delicate affair. In a small
scale highly diluted swimming pool acid will have the same results.

vinegar potion only kills the tops of undesired plants...

"weeds" are best dealt with near the end of the growing season when they
have used up all their resources.
