Vinegar for weeds

Before people not familiar with these acids try them on weeds, please reconsider. They
are highly corrosive to everything - including YOU - and should not be used without
proper skin and eye protection. What they do to the weeds they will do to you. They will
dissolve cotton, rayon and polyester clothing - quickly. I know how to handle such
things but I would not take such risks for weeds. Vinegar is diluted acetic acid, and
even the 5% solution burns the weeds. It is less harmful to humans than the other acids
mentioned. Have you splashed vinegar in your eye while cooking or eating?
