Supplying a nice carbon source like acetate may have unforseen consequences as far as your local microorganisms are concerned. Sorry they aren't geophytes, but you'll be growing them.

> And thanks, Leo. I was wondering of spraying the foliage with it. Using it as a drench to modify soil pH in order to kill the weeds sounds like involving huge quantities. I can use acetic acid if vinegar works for (my) weeds.
