Good Morning Joseph,

The correct name is Freesia laxa.

Formerly also (/Anomatheca laxa/, /Anomatheca cruenta/, /Lapeirousia laxa/).

I cannot find anything in PBS about this species lactea. Is this just a made up name? Going on the internet I find many nurseries offering the same species. Of course it is a hybrid. Might anyone be able to enlighten me on this? Thanks, Joe, Oceanside, CA.
