The Oxalis adenophylla question.
JIm, I guess I should qualify by saying my garden soil is very moisture
retentive, lots of organic material. Our summers are quite dry, so for
the largest number of plants, which need a bit of moisture during the
growing season, I've added organic material. I've lost this Oxalis to
winter wet on more than one occasion., and so, I lift this bulb as store
it indoors during our rainy season. By far , the largest problem in my
Seattle garden, is winter wet, even where soil has not been amended at all.
I believe, as you once quoted, "All gardening is local". You do what you
gotta do.
