early Erythronium helenae flowers

Hi Kathleen,

I looked at my records over a number of years and this species has 
started blooming for me (south of you in Northern California) in 
February or March.  It's been very reliable. My plants have buds on 
them now, but haven't opened yet.  Like Paige the first one to bloom 
for me is Erythronium multiscapoideum which is blooming now.
