Iris humilis normally refers to a pseudoregelia with yellow flowers, but
the name has also been applied to various other Irises, including Iris
pontica. Someone introduced seed of Iris "humilis" to Britain a few years
ago and these small spuria plants were distributed by the nursery trade-
(along with the description of Iris humilis with yellow flowers)
