growing species tulips from seed

So far as I can recollect, most tulips which I have germinated have emerged
in slightly warmer periods. perhaps 8 or 10 degrees C. day time
temperatures. Though only anecdotal, this would suggest that you may be
able to hold these seeds in the fridge for some months.
