Mealy bug tragedy

Hi Alberto,

I have tried the alcohol route and it works great, but when you have about 200 pots of plants that got infested, it's very time consuming. I have had success with Bayer Tree & Shrub (Neo-nic pesticide) but I'm reluctant on using it as it may have too many risks on the native beneficial insects and may be the prime suspect for our honey bee collapse.

Spray with alcohol, let it act for five-ten minutes and rinse with pure water. Alcohol will reach even the most hidden spot and a small quantity will suffice, only enough to reach the bugs.
