Including the previous messages in your posts

I'm no longer in charge and since I don't get the digest it's really
easy for me to delete very long messages that only have one new line
of information. But I know there are a lot of people on this list who
do get the digest and they must be finding it very frustrating lately
with so many people including multiple messages when they post a new
one. When I got the digest on another list and there were digests
like there must be for the Scilla madeirensis thread I'd find myself
just deleting the whole thing without looking at it as it was so
challenging to find the new information. Including all the old posts
also triggers extra digests and people who subscribe to the digest
have done that so they won't get so many posts.

For the sake of a very large group of digest subscribers and to keep
the archives clean please do not include the previous message/s you
are responding to when you reply. Delete all of them first or before
you send the message out. If it seems important you may leave a
couple lines of previous messages or make note of what you are
responding to in your reply. Doing this will make a lot of people very happy.
