Has anyone seen the new book "Flora of the Mediterranean with California, Chile, Australia, and South Africa: An illustrated guide" by Christopher Gardner and Basak Gardner? It's reviewed in the new NARGS Rock Garden Quarterly, but by the editor, who is not familiar with the plants that would interest PBS members. I'd be glad to hear other reviews before investing in it. The publisher is Bloomsbury Wildlife, and ISBN 97u8-1472970268. The Gardners have led many tours for the company Greentours, including one I participated in. She is a Turkish botanist; not sure of Chris's academic background, but he is a very good photographer. I think the book is primarily a photographic extravaganza. The additional countries following "with" have not been visited in depth by the authors, but they have led one or two tours there.
