Problems with Neomarica caerulea

That's really strange.  I've never seen a Neomarica behave like that.  I 
wonder if there is a something wrong with the rhizome or roots?  Maybe a 
pest?  or a fungus?  mealy bugs?

In my experience Neomarica is really forgiving.  It does not require 
strict conditions, like an orchid or something.  So for Neomarica to 
struggle is a really confusing situation for me.
