This has been an in-depth and wide-ranging discussion on our email group vs. Facebook vs. forums with many informed opinions, experiences and knowledge. I would like to take this to the next level, which is the PBS Board. Please be aware that something so important to members will not be resolved overnight but needs to be discussed and studied at length. Valid points have been made. It will not be on Sunday's agenda as that is already overfull, but it will be on the next quarterly meeting agenda in Jan/Feb. I will be saving all emails relevant to the coming board discussion. Granted we are using old technology, but please remember old technology has its uses and as a small organization attempting to find qualified volunteers for various positions, the board prefers to take time to explore options in order to find what works best for PBS. As several have mentioned, the depth of knowledge and experience of PBS members is wonderful and those qualities are what serves PBS so well, and will keep us going forward.
