Hello everyone,

I am so happy to share that the 1st xAmarine belladiva ‘Anastasia’ from the
open ground will bloom soon. I did notice this spike only today:
This bulbs is in its 4th growing cycle. Here is its mother, getting
prettier every day:

This means that this plant is not only hardy to -12 C (a whole week, not
just a day in early 2018), but it can also bloom after surviving these
temperatures. I am very excited, since I grow some crosses with it and some
other South African bulbs.

Cheers,

Dear all,

Just wanted to share another beauty from my garden: xAmarine belladiva
‘Anastasia’

It is more popular than the other xAmarine and it is very easy to grow. It
seems also quite hardy, since it survived the -12 C week at the end of
February 2018. It grows well in pots or open ground, however I could get it
to bloom in pots only. This is its second blooming. I love the intensity of
its color, it lasts forever and has more flowers per scape then any A.
belladona or Nerine that I grow. Bonus: it multiplies really quickly.

Cheers,
Vlad
