Mary, If you take the member directory and quickly go through and highlight the possibilities, you should be able to stick pins in the map, so to speak, and see if you have any neighbors among the membership. I think the concern about privacy was just directed to publishing all the names and addresses on a public list. We are all members and in principle "bulb buddies", which is why we each get a copy of the directory. Most of us have contacted others who are either close by or have similar interests, and this has led to great friendships, garden tours, and private swapping of plants and experience. Speaking only for myself, I encourage you to reach out to other members privately and I predict that any such contacts will be welcomed.
