I just had this bulb start to bloom and I don't think it is what it says it should be. It was from PBS 481 - 25 labeled as Gladiolus trichonemifolius. Does anyone have any clues? Plant identifier apps have not helped.
Thanks
Jenny
It looks like a Freesia to me, maybe of the former Lapeirousia group.
Any fragrance?
Otherwise I would not know

I had also thought a similarity to Freesia based on the grouping of the flower buds, but have never grown any apart from florists varieties, so very unfamiliar with them. Thanks for the pointer.
