Title: Opuntia macrorhiza 'Ohio'

A geophytic prickly pear cactus from Ohio?  Apparently so!  This is blooming en masse in my garden right now and it is GLORIOUS.

It looks similar to Opuntia fragilis which grows near the coast here in British Columbia, Canada, and Washington, U.S.A.
