Hello everyone,

we are currently trying to unravel the phylogeny of one of the most important bulbous/tuberous plant groups, namely the order Asparagales which includes Iridaceae, Asparagaceae, Amaryllidaceae and so on. We are based in Germany and have access to a lot from garden and wild collections, but we have major sampling gaps in the SW US and in Mexico, plus some odds and ends elsewhere. Essentially we are looking for small leaf samples (silica-dried), at least with a documented accession number or an associated herbarium specimen deposited somewhere in a public herbarium. The taxa we are still looking for are:
Brodiaeoideae: Dandya purpusii, Jaimehintonia gypsophila, Petronymphe rara, Triteleiopsis palmeri, Xochiquetzallia (any species)
Agavoideae: Hooveria (any species), Echeandia (any species).

If anybody would be able to help with one or the other sample, that would be fantastic. Seeds are welcome for our collection at Bonn University Botanic Gardens, but not helful for the study at hand, since we want to conclude it in the next months.
