My mirabilis were so beautiful this morning that I took a few pictures even before feeding the cats or having my coffee.

'Limelight' with its chartreuse leaves and vivid intense fuchsia flowers had only one or two open flowers which did not photograph at all well. But I think you will enjoy 'Alba', 'Oranage Crush', and M. longiflora'

I wish the longifloras would work for me - but I have to say that my Mirabilis multiflora
Height: 30-45 cm (1-1.5 ft)
Flower Colors: purple
Flower Season: mid summer to late summer
Life form: deciduous thick roots
Climate: USDA Zone 7-8
still expands in its fifth year of of flowering - in plant size, in flower count and in the duration of the flowering period. As mine is my typical sole surviving plant, I may try to microwave the pollen...
