Hi Everyone:

If anyone is interested, please let me know.  Kindly email me your choice(s) at bulbexpbs@gmail.com. Available are:

1. Crinum Macowanii 'African Queen'
2. Crinum bulbispermum 'Jumbo' and
3. Crinum bulbispermum

This offer is first-come, first served and will be open for until Tuesday evening (July 25). Please respond to me asap as I intend to get this seed out the door mid-week.
Thanks.

Best to point out that the offer was 23 July 2023 - time has passed and the offer will no longer be available.  Normally there is no charge for PBS seed, but you have to be a PBS member and pay the postage, which can be significant on large seed like Crinum.

Maybe also worth commenting on a common misconception - most recalcitrant (often called, incorrectly, ephemeral), usually Amaryllid, seeds.
They have a life of several weeks and more, even after a root appears and are reasonably resistant to dessication. Or all of the several species that I have bought have been.

Several species are routinely offered as seed by S African seed suppliers, although they sell quickly, and the total time from collection to anyone receiveing them will be 1-2 months, or more, and all that I have received have had roots, some of them well over 1cm long. They have all done fine.
