Kevin, Dell and Gerrit. I would think that Gerrit's climate and mine are very similar (zone7-8). It's easy for us to warm things up a bit under glass when necessary but It may be more difficult for you to to cool them down. On the other hand, our lower light-levels and shorter summers offer a different set of problems which can make some tender amaryllids difficult to please - but I will keep trying. Happy New Year.
