The double flowered variant of O compressa is in commerce in the UK - see
the RHS plantfinder for details. Also, a tendency to produce double flowers
is quite common in O pes-caprae. In the naturalised population of the latter
in Gibraltar both double and semi-double forms are frequent.

Doubling of the flowers of both of these, and a number of other S African
taxa, is noted in the Salter monograph, see p23.
