The Delaware Center for Horticulture is looking for 20 bulbs to distribute as a gift to its most generous rare plant auction patrons at a luncheon on Saturday, April 16. Can anyone suggest or better yet supply 20 bulbs (for no more than $10 each) that these individuals might consider rare or special for such a distribution. I thought that something like Haemanthus albiflos might be a good possibility. It is a reliable bloomer and surely multiplies well. Many of the recipients have green houses and are interested in horticulture and furthering the goals of the Center. A non-run-of-the-mill bulb that could reliably be grown outside in Zone 6 is another possibility. Many thanks for your help. Kathy Andersen ksa@del.net Wilmington, Delaware
