Hi Pascal:
          Thanks for the links. The inclusion of Habranthus brachyandrus in 
Rhodophiala is incredible. Also the identification of the gorgeous white red 
speckled species as R. rhodolirion is surprising. It is generally 
acknowledged as an undescribed species that grows in an Andean pass between 
Argentina and Chile that I intendedly do not mention because of "modern day 
plant explorers". It is strongly clumping and the flowers are huge for the 
size of the plants. Jane, this must bring you memories of your recent 
Chilean trip. It is good to see that all have a good picture of the variety 
within this fascinating genus.
