two favorite reds-Daubenya aurea-red form. Just as Daubenya aurea is the most vivid yellow, so the red form is the most vivid red. This So. African is restricted to a barren area similar to Nevada in topography and climate. It has gotten into nursery trade in So. Africa. It does OK for me in inland No. Calif. The other is another So. African- Nerine sarniensis. Its an iridescent red explosion and does well in my pot. I have stunning images, but as a computer infant I can't share them. Sincerely, Bob Werra
