Mary Sue; you did the best job you could, unfortunately it becomes rather confusing without the original formatting. I thank you for including part of the introduction that is necessary to make any sense of it at all. It very very strange that it didn't work since I tested on a friend and it came through fine, beforehand.

I think Mark McDonough (Allium) has some competition here for a complicated 
genus. Maybe the Scilla gurus were just trying to make their lives simpler 
by breaking that genus down into many genera with just a few species.
