Thanks, Ernie, for helping to put to rest the myth that Townsend's mole
does not eat bulbs. 

Writing in a series of USDA bulletins early in the twentieth century, David
Griffiths repeatedly included the moles of the Pacific Northwest among bulb
predators. That information has been largely ignored for about eighty
years.
