I usually welcome crinum offsets for propagation or increasing clump size, but two of my crinum are large specimen plants and removing the offsets for aesthetic reasons is becoming a chore. I stopped fertilizing a few years ago and that seemed to slow down offset formation a tad. The older the plants get, the more they seem to want to form offsets. Does anyone have suggestions to slow or prevent formation of offsets? Thanks Phil Andrews
