Appropriate to winter, Nerine undulata-alba from a Dutch catalog, has been blooming for the last month in a pot outside a window. It is a large loosely packed iridescent snowball perched on a 12 in. stem. And in our No. Calif. Ukiah valley it doesn't melt despite rain and above freezing temperatures. It is nature's Christmas present. Happy Holidays, Bob Werra
