Lycoris season

Yes, I was surprised a couple of weeks ago to see a scape poking out of
the pots of two of my Lycoris. They are both now in full bloom. One is
L. ×haywardii. This is the first time it has bloomed for me. It looks
surprisingly similar to L. sprengeri, but doesn't have nearly as much
of the electric blue color--mostly being at the tips of the petals. The
other is that L. haywardii × Clivia miniata supposed hybrid. It finally
bloomed for me for the first time as well. It looks like an almost red
color, but not intense, and it has the barest touch of the electric
blue at the petal tips. (This would make it look more like the one that
Lauw has bloomed rather than the one that Bill Dijk has bloomed.) Both
of these were also obtained in one of Jim W.'s Chinese Lycoris
offerings.
