Hi Lee,

Annie's Annuals (http://www.anniesannuals.com/) had some nice 4" plants earlier this
spring along with some other S. African goodies.  The next time you are up
here you should plant an excursion across the Bay to check them out.  She is
just over an hour from here (unless you get nailed by the Bridge traffic) in
Richmond.

Merrill in Palo Alto,  Zone 9-10 and still windy...

This is the one we saw on our trip to South Africa a few years ago, out  
past Darling. I wondered what it was. Thanks for posting this, John.  
Does anyone know a source for seeds or bulbs of it?
